Modern float glass production technology was invented by the UK Pilkington Company in 1952. In 1987, Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Co., Ltd. introduced the UK Pilkington Glass company’s “float glass production process” and became an enterprise capable of producing 1.8mm~25mm thickness various specifications of high-quality float glass. At present, SYP has four high-quality float glass production lines, three of which use the full set of equipment and production technology of UK Pilkington Company, and one uses the production technology of Japanese NSG company to meet the different needs of the market.
